Quick and Easy Halloween Treats!

Here a few fun and simple recipes that you can make for your children's school Halloween party, or just make at home for your kids to get in the spirit of Halloween!

MUMMY DOGS

1 package (8 breadsticks or 11 ounces) breadstick dough
1 package hot dogs
Prepared mustard
Poppy seeds

* Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
* Wrap each hot dog in one strip of dough, leaving about 1 inch exposed so it looks like a mummy.
* Bake 12-15 minutes or until light golden brown.
* Remove from oven and place two dots of mustard on each hot dog with a poppy seed in the center to look like eyes.

Makes 8 servings

(You can also make them as a snack by using 1 package of mini hot dogs and cutting the breadsticks into 3 pieces, then cutting each piece in half lengthwise. Use one strip of dough for each mini hot dog.)

Ghost Nutter Butter Cookies

1 package Nutter Butter Bars
1 16 ounce tub white icing (or homemade icing)
1 small package of sweet chocolate morsels

* Ice each cookie smooth with white icing.
* Place two chocolate morsels on each cookie for eyes.

Ghost Favors

This is a great way to turn an ordinary snack into something fun!

*Take small candies and place them in a sandwich bag (not the resealable kind) and rubber band it at the bottom so it's shaped like a head.
*Drape an orange or white napkin over the head and tie a black ribbon tightly around the neck. The napkin will fan out to resemble a ghost.
* With a marker, draw a face on the ghost.

These fun snacks are so easy to make and the kids will love them!
Happy Halloween!
